Pennsylvania Snow Birds

Pennsylvania Snow Birds – 2023-2024

The Pennsylvania Snowbird Club meets weekly at 9. a.m. on Wednesdays for breakfast January, February and first of March at BuzzCatz Restaurant 25689 Canal Rd. in Orange Beach. Details: Rich Smith at (610) 217-6674 or bettyrich@RCN.com.

WHO WE ARE!

Our members come from all over Pennsylvania: we stay at the state park, in rented houses and in condos all over south Baldwin County.  Some of our Pennsylvanians have been coming to the Gulf Coast for 30 years (in fact, the early snow birds had a small Pennsylvania Club many years ago). Others of us are relatively new to the white sands and “warm weather”. At least there is no snow to shovel!

CLUB HISTORY

We started with 20 folks in 1999. By our second year 75 had come to breakfast. We have no officers, no dues, no by-laws or constitution. We just like to meet and eat. We do participate with the other snow bird groups in fund raising activities including the Bratfest, Pancake Breakfast, Trivia Night, Low Country Boil and other activities.
