‘CELEBRATION OF THE PERFORMING ARTS’
The Pensacola Junior College Music and Theatre department presents the second annual “Celebration of the Performing Arts.” The free event is 7:30 p.m. April 10 at the Ashmore Fine Arts Center Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola campus, 1000 College Blvd.
“Celebration of the Performing Arts” is a live concert that helps support fundraising for PJC’s fine and performing arts student scholarships.The show features original musical compositions performed by PJC faculty and students, dance presentations by the Swerve Dance Co., dramatic scenes from “Topdog/Underdog,” the off-Broadway play, and poetry readings of original PJC student poems by PJC theatre students.
