Late August means the dog days of summer have hit the coast but we know that some folks haven’t even had a real summer this year.

As the Fall festival season approaches, many will begin plans for their trek south.

Some leave as soon as the first snowflake flies – as early as October in some cases and depending on their geographic location.

For potential Snowbirds there are affordable opportunities coming up for you to make a trip south for discovery and tours. After the second week of August tourism drops dramatically along the coast as parents and schoolchildren get back into their schedules.

The result is better rates on hotels, condos and RV parks and more opportunities to tour the area.

Snowbirds Gulf Coast will be happy to answer any of your questions and point you in the direction you need to go. We’ve been around since 2006 and have become the unofficial ambassadors for the region.
