Don't miss

The winds of change

Mid October here on the coast and thunderstorms are rolling. A cold front is clashing with warm air stirring up the atmosphere. Behind it our 80s daytime temps will moderate into the 70s. The cooler air and lower humidity make it a perfect time to enjoy one of the many festivals and Halloween-themed events. Away from the immediate coast, many people are surprised to learn how much farmland exists here. There are many pumpkin patches, hay rides, corn mazes (including one designed and cut in the image of two-time Masters Champion Bubba Watson,) haunted houses and old-fashioned fun. If you’ve already made your way south then pull out the short sleeves and grab a light sweater. You’ve beaten the crowds that will surely arrive over the next six to eight weeks. Take the time to make new friends. This is a special time in your life. Enjoy!
