Location: Located on the back deck of the Hampton Inn, Pensacola Beach.
Former Pensacola Beach resident Nancy Woody has lived on the Gulf Coast for over 33 years, and been in business as Fire Sign Jewelry Design over 6 years. “The natural beauty of this area is definitely my main inspiration in creating one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. I use natural gemstones in all my creations, usually accented with Swarovski crystals. I also do custom work and can create pieces that are perfect gifts with just a little information about the person receiving it. At the beginning of this year, I decided to branch out and started making salt scrubs and after-sun soothers. They are made of all natural organic ingredients, feel great on your skin, and smell even better!”
Nancy has added to her collection recently. She states, “What fun these are! Brand new pendants, all on adjustable leather cords, some with pearls, wood, and assorted glass. I can also do custom ones, just let me know your message!” In addition to Woody’s originals, she has recently partnered with another longtime Gulf Coast resident Mary Bedard. Bedard has created a unique collection of handmade soaps. Her collection, indigenous to the coastal area, makes great stocking stuffers or gift baskets.
Woody is conveniently located on the back deck of the Hampton Inn, Pensacola Beach during the summer season, Wed-Sun, weather permitting. During the winter months, Nancy will be set up in the main lobby of the hotel. Winter Hours are Thursday – Sunday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.. These unique jewelry and skincare products are also available at Maverick Board Riding Co on Pensacola Beach and The Orange Grove in Orange Beach, Al.
When asked about her desire to be in the jewelry design business, Woody excitedly stated: “I have found my passion! I love designing jewelry and creating wearable works of art. The majority of my creations reflect my love of the beach and all things in nature.”
