‘Miracles’ coming to Elberta church
St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church, 12795 Illinois Street in Elberta,
AL will host “Vatican Eucharistic Miracles” Feb. 5,6, and 7 at St.
Benedict’s Gymnasium, adjacent to St. Bartholomew’s. The event consists of 160 professionally-produced panels detailing 126 miracles of the Catholic faith over the years. The panels represent miracles world-wide.
In conjunction with the display, there will be talks by EWTN’s Fr. Mitch Pacwa. He will be speaking in the evening. The complete schedule is as follows:
- Friday, Feb. 5. The exhibit will be open, 2-6 p.m. A choir presentation will begin at 6:15 p.m. and Fr, Mitch will begin his talk at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Feb. 6. The exhibit will open at noon, and will be open until 5 p.m. There will be a program of sacred music at 5:30; to be followed by Mass. Fr. Mitch will speak again after Mass.
- Sunday, Feb. 7. All are welcome to attend Mass at 8 or 10:30 a.m. The exhibit will open at noon, and will run to 5 p.m. At 5 p.m., there will be Holy Hour.
