Wisconsin Sno-birds continue to give back to the community
The Wisconsin Sno-bird Club gave $1650 in the form of $25 gift cards to the Baldwin County Foster Children program on November 30. Kassie Everett Carroll is shown accepting the cards from Nancy Durgin. The donations were collected at last January, February and March Club meetings.
The Wisconsin Sno-bird Club will begin their 2016 season with the first meeting on Wednesday, January 6, At the Orange Beach Event Center on Canal Road just west of the Wharf at 8:30 am. We start with donuts and coffee, then the meeting begins at 9 am. There is a puzzle and book exchange as well as collections of motel toiletries, Nestle water bottle labels, empty printer ink cartridges, Campbell soup labels and Boxtops for Education.
Come to meet other folks from WI and find out about bus trips and local activities for fun things to do and places to volunteer when you’ve “been there-done that.” Golf is every Monday and cards every Friday starting January 15. If you have suggestions or questions, please contact Kenn at (251) 967-2463 OR email@example.com.
