Gulf Shores Men’s Snowbird Coffee Club

The Gulf Shores Men’s Snowbird Coffee Club will hold their first meeting of the 2016 season at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, January 4 at Gilbey’s Restaurant, 25775 Perdido Beach Blvd. in Orange Beach.

Starting Monday, January 11, the club will meet at Ginny Lane Restaurant at the Wharf in Orange Beach every Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. for coffee. Membership information is available at these meetings.

The oldest continually active snowbird club has more than 200 members from twenty-five states and three Canadian provinces. Besides raising money for local charities, the club holds golf outings twice each week, sponsors weekly casino trips and conducts breakfast meetings for members and spouses each month. The club also throws horseshoes on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays at noon at Meyer Park in Gulf Shores. The first breakfast meeting of the season will be at Ginny Lane Restaurant at the Wharf in Orange Beach on Friday, January 15 at 7:30 a.m.

  • Kevin Probst from Alabama will serve as sergeant-at-arms. Dale and Barb Orchard of Michigan will schedule all golf outings.
