Coastal Mississippi goes back in time as its streets are filled with classic and hot rod vehicles and the sounds of nostalgic music fills the air during the 26th Annual Cruisin’ The Coast, Oct. 2-9. The weeklong party, dubbed “America’s Largest Block Party” is expected to draw more than 9,500 vehicles from around the globe, and all roads lead to Beau Rivage Resort & Casino for a fabulous week of classic fun.

Cruisers can showcase their rides along Coastal Mississippi’s 30-mile stretch of beach-side highway connecting a number of venues that feature stages for live music, car shows, swap meets and vendors. What began in 1996 with 374 registered cars to last year’s record-breaking 9,469 cars from 45 states and Canada, Cruisin’ the Coast has grown to become Mississippi’s largest special event and was voted Best Car Show Competition in the U.S. in 2021 by readers of USA TODAY.

The party at Beau Rivage gets firing on all cylinders Wednesday, Oct. 5 with the Cruisin’ the Coast’s official sock hop and keeps rollin’ through the weekend with The Beach Boys, Jay Leno, free nightly live entertainment, drink specials and dedicated parking for cruisers.

Wednesday, Oct. 5 – Cruisin’ the Coast Official Sock Hop with The New Orleans Mystics
