The holidays will be here before you know it and in anticipation of the festive season, multi-platinum-selling recording artist Josh Turner is bringing his “King Size Manger Tour” to Beau Rivage on Friday, Dec. 9 at 8 p.m.
“The King Size Manger Tour” will include holiday songs featured on Turner’s “King Size Manger” album in addition to his popular hits. “King Size Manger” is a collection of traditional country versions of classic Christmas songs with some original tunes as well as some Hawaiian, bluegrass and swing sprinkled into the mix.
“Making a Christmas record can be a mighty daunting task for an artist. There are many songs to choose from and there’ve been so many versions of those songs throughout history,” Turner said. “You may be surprised to hear my arrangement on some of these songs that you know so well.”
With his deep bass voice, Turner has sold more than six million records, reached 4.4 billion global streams and has become a favorite and unforgettable hitmaker on country radio. A native of South Carolina, Turner has been nominated for two GRAMMY Awards, five CMA Awards, two ACM Awards, one CMT Award and seven ACA Awards.
