Combining inpatient and outpatient services in one of the most advanced and modern cardiac centers in the U.S.,
BHVI will remain among the top 2% of hospitals nationwide that provide four of the most complex and advanced treatments in care for the heart.
Special features of BHVI’s new cardiac center of excellence that will enhance patient experience include:
- All heart and vascular clinics will be located on one floor of the Bear Family Foundation Health Center,easing access for patients and providing maximum efficiency for our multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, electrophysiologists, clinical specialists, nurse practitioners and cardiopulmonary physical therapists.
- Specialized treatment and procedure rooms will be dedicated to cardiac care.
- The campus will be equipped with one more electrophysiology lab than at our current location. With three labs, capacity increases by 50% and reduces wait times for patients.
Elsewhere around the campus, finishing work on the hospital and Bear Family Foundation Health Center continues. Irrigation installation is ongoing, and the final work on the hardscape of the site — including sidewalks, curbs and concrete islands in the parking lot — is nearing completion.
