With mild temperatures and winter deals on the horizon, this vacation destination has everything to offer people looking for a getaway this season. Here’s a roundup of everything happening throughout November.

Foo Foo Festival: Oct. 31 – Nov. 11 – Beginning Oct. 31, 12 days of cultural happening ensue the Pensacola Bay Area. Popular events like the Great Gulf Coast Arts Festival and the Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow anchor the weekends with yearly featured events. This year enjoy scenes from Fire and Rain, songs from Choir!Choir!Choir! and more.

Mahabhuta Yoga Festival: Nov. 4-10 – Celebrate the Year of the Earth Pig and enjoy yoga, art, and music at the 8th annual Mahabhuta Yoga Festival. Honoring the Gulf Coast community through the timeless expression of love, the Mahabhuta Yoga Festival brings the community together through laughter, asana, dance, breath, meditation, essential oils, nature, song, art, bodywork, and high vibrational cuisine.

Great Gulf Coast Arts Festival: Nov. 1-3 – The nation’s top artists, bay views, a cool breeze and live music make the Great Gulf Coast Arts Festival in Historic Downtown Pensacola one of the best-regarded, most popular arts festivals in the United States. Featured festival art ranges from classical to whimsical with everything from traditional painting, photography and sculpture to yard art, musical instruments, clothing, and jewelry. It’s the perfect time and place to begin holiday shopping or to treat yourself to a handmade treasure.

Pensacola Women’s Half Marathon Weekend: Nov. 1-3 – The inaugural Pensacola Women’s Half Marathon Weekend features a Mile Dash, A 5k, And A Half Marathon. This year’s race includes an all-new half marathon racecourse, goodie bags with next-level swag, course music to keep runners moving, delicious food and a weekend of friendship and bonding that won’t be forgotten.

Frank Brown International Songwriter’s Festival: Nov. 7-17 – The granddaddy of Gulf Coast songwriters’ festivals with more than 200 Grammy award-winning songwriters and up-and-coming stars heading to Perdido Key to perform their original songs and talk about the stories behind the music. Enjoy miles of powder-sand beaches, legendary seafood and 11 days of unforgettable music.

Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow: Nov. 8-9 – The roar of the engines, the streamers of smoke, every formation in perfect symmetry. Whether they are flying high at practice or soaring through a spectacular air show, it is always a thrill to see the Blue Angels cut across Pensacola skies. Each November, the team hosts their last show of that season at Naval Air Station Pensacola. The Blues take to the skies at 2 p.m. but arrive early to enjoy the static displays and additional air teams.

Pensacola Egg Fest: Nov. 10 – Barbecue on the bay is back and smokier than ever. Enjoy bites and samples from nearly 100 Big Green Eggs at Pensacola Blue Wahoos Stadium.  From savory classics like BBQ pulled pork and brisket, to sweet desserts and cookies – the food prepared for you will absolutely ROCK your taste buds.

Pensacola Beach Art and Wine Festival: Nov. 10 – For the 12th year, the Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce invites the public to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon strolling the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk, enjoying the fall air while sampling wines and perusing the works of some of the Gulf Coast’s most talented artists.

John Appleyard Presentation: Nov. 12 – Don’t miss the opportunity to hear famed historian, John Appleyard share his knowledge of Pensacola’s history with one of his famous storytelling sessions! The event is free to the public, but seating is limited. Located in Wayside Park on east side of Hwy. 98 at mouth of Pensacola Bay Bridge.

Gallery Night: Nov. 15 – Gallery Night Pensacola is all about taking art to the streets. Every third Friday of the month, downtown Pensacola comes to life with artists, music, and food to showcase the true culture of the community.

Winter Holiday Festivities: Nov. 29 – Pensacola kicks off the holiday season on Friday, Nov. 29 with the Elf Parade and the First City Lights annual tree lighting. The Parade Grand Marshall leads the merry crew of kids, parents, toys, and characters from the old Escambia County Courthouse to Plaza Wonderland at Palafox and Government Streets. Costumed kids of all ages march alongside an alligator “second line” brass band, Santa, and our characters from stops in the Winterfest Performance Tour. The six-block route takes about 20 minutes, and includes a Christmas song battle, tumbling snowflakes, and plenty of cheer. Following, over 400,000 twinkling lights are illuminated throughout the streets of downtown and remain so through January.

Visit Pensacola Holiday Cube: Nov. 29 – It’s back and in a new location! Visit Pensacola is bringing a larger-than-life holiday cube to Plaza Ferdinand in downtown Pensacola. The cube, featuring holiday scenes from around the area, will be up and available for holiday photos Friday, Nov. 29-early January. Visitors are encouraged to share their photos on social media using the hashtag #ExperiencePcola.
