TMH Physician Partners, in collaboration with The St. Joe Company, are celebrating the recently opened medical office plaza at 1002 N. Arnold Road in Panama City Beach, Florida. The ceremony, attended by local officials and healthcare leaders, marks a significant advancement in healthcare accessibility for residents in the area.

“We are thrilled to open our new medical office plaza, which marks the beginning of our commitment to an advanced and comprehensive healthcare platform in this vibrant community,” said Mark O’Bryant, President & CEO of Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH). “The next few years will be an exciting time for TMH, Florida State University and our other partners as we further develop this campus. Our long-term vision is to grow alongside this community, continuously adapting to meet the evolving healthcare needs of the region.”

The new medical office plaza, which officially opened in July with Urgent Care and Primary Care, now offers a range of services, including:

·      TMH Urgent Care

·      TMH Physician Partners – Primary Care

·      TMH Physician Partners, Services by Southern Medical Group – Cardiology

·      TMH Physician Partners – Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep

·      Coastal Tides Surgical Center

“The medical office plaza marks the first step in our ongoing commitment to improving the health of Bay County residents,” said Andrew Starr, Vice President and Chief Health Operations Officer at TMH. “We’re excited to welcome additional healthcare partners to the plaza in the coming months, including Orthopedics, Dermatology, Women’s Services and more.”

Starr also outlined plans for the next phase of the healthcare campus, which includes a new hospital set to open by the end of 2027. The hospital will initially have 180 beds, with 60 to 80 available at opening, along with an Emergency Center and additional services such as Surgery, Cardiology, and Imaging.

Jorge Gonzalez, President and CEO of The St. Joe Company, expressed his enthusiasm for the project. “This project has been thoughtfully planned over the past few years, and we’re thrilled to see the first phase come to fruition,” Gonzalez said. “This medical campus will meet a critical need for more healthcare options but also create dynamic synergies between research, education and clinical expertise and position our region as a destination for expert healthcare.”

Panama City Beach Mayor Stuart Tettemer and representatives from the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce and Bay County Chamber of Commerce participated in the ceremonial ribbon cutting, highlighting the community’s support for this important healthcare initiative.

After the ceremony, attendees were invited to tour the new facilities during an open house.
