Burn up the beaches with some of the country’s hottest cars May 6-7 as gearheads from all over the United States show off their wheels on the sugar-white beaches of Destin and Fort Walton Beach.

Burning Up The Beaches, an annual fundraiser for The Arc of the Emerald Coast, kicks off Thursday, May 6, at 3 p.m. at The Island by Hotel RL in Fort Walton Beach. Once checked in, attendees will get the party started across the street with a Happy Hour at Rick’s on the Island. New to Burning Up The Beaches this year, the group will drive in the Main Street Parade in downtown Fort Walton Beach to show off their vintage cars on Friday, May 7. The celebration will continue with various events hosted at The Island by Hotel RL including a DJ at the pool, a beach bonfire, and live music.

Saturday, May 8, is the big show day! The Burning Up The Beaches car show will begin at 9 a.m. at Destin Commons. Participants will enjoy a day of cars, music, and more around Destin Commons.

The Main Street Parade and the Burning Up The Beaches car show are open to the public to attend. To participate in these events, as well as the other activities during the Burning up the Beaches weekend, registration is required.
