The Christmas Tour of Homes in DeFuniak Springs is sponsored by historic St. Agatha’s Episcopal Church again this year.  As is traditional, the Tour is on the first Saturday in December (December 3, 2022, from 10-5). Proceeds will benefit the church’s Preservation Fund, reserved for the upkeep of St. Agatha’s historic structures on the church grounds.

The Church last sponsored the tour in 2019 show casing eight homes, decorated for Christmas.  If there is a theme for 2022 it might be historic preservation, planned, in progress or completed, and the nine homes selected represent all three categories.  In addition, there are three businesses located in circa 1900 buildings that have recently completed restorations.  The Presbyterian and the Episcopal Church, with its two additional historic home properties, are extra sites selected for your enjoyment.  After the tour, the Library, the Museum, the Mistletoe Market, and the Chautauqua Winery are added attractions that visitors should not miss. Then be sure to see The Festival of Trees in the recently restored Chautauqua Building and Christmas Reflections (9 million lights in the park that surrounds the perfectly round lake). You could not ask for a more exciting day!

Plan to step into the Christmas spirit throughout the entire day in historic DeFuniak Springs.  For reserved tickets send $25 per person (Check payable to St. Agatha’s Episcopal Church) to TOUR 504 Circle Drive, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.  Call for reserved tickets and your Tour Guide, or purchase tickets the day of the tour at the Visitors Center, 1162 Circle Drive next to the Depot.
