A Beachy Little Christmas

It’s the holidays and The Island is excited to bring a little sand into the season! Join The Island on Saturday, December 5th for a new holiday tradition, A Beachy Little Christmas. The Island will be decked out in beautiful Christmas decor across the whole resort in addition to the fun plans in store. Festivities begin at noon, as the community is invited to watch professional sandcastle creators building the first Island Holiday “Beach Home” right on the sugar-white sands of the Island. At 2:00 pm, guests of all ages can join in the fun where they will have the opportunity to build snowmen and other holiday scenery around the extravagant sandcastle! The skilled team of professionals* will be on hand to teach all their tips and tricks in sand sculptures. The Island has more spirited plans in store including painting your own beach-themed ornament, decorating delicious holiday cookies, and enjoying specialty seasonal beverages and cocktails. This event is free to attend and open to all who seek the holiday spirit!

Noon – Professional Team Finalizes Island Sandcastle “Beach House”

2:00 pm – Community Sand Sculptures

2:00 – 4:00 pm – Ornament & Cookie Decorating, Beverages, and more!

*Everyone is welcome to participate in the sand sculpture demo/class at 2:00 pm. If you would like to work with one of the professional sand sculptors, please arrive as early as possible and notify The Island staff working the event.
