Panama City, Florida is celebrating Woodstock’s 50th Anniversary with a music and art event titled “Woodstock 50: Peace, Love, Art and Music” at Gallery 271.

This two-night VIP opening is a rare opportunity to relive this iconic festival by feasting your eyes on unique 1969 Woodstock Art & Memorabilia from the Larry T Clemons Collection. The collection showcases original musical artifacts, including a hand signed Jimi Hendrix guitar, Janis Joplin concert posters, an original Grateful Dead at Madison Square Garden’s concert poster and many original 1969 Woodstock Rock ‘n’ Roll Artifacts.

The exhibition will also include a collection of music memorabilia from Sun Records, Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley, the Beatles and 100’s of items never before seen.

Art exhibits will be on display at the gallery until September 7, 2019.

Tickets to the premier opening night include a free raffle ticket entry, complimentary Woodstock-themed gifts, heavy hors d’oeuvres and two beverage tickets. All proceeds support ReTree PC, a community-wide initiative with the goal of replanting the cities tree canopy which was lost in Hurricane Michael. DJ Capo will be playing tracks from the original Woodstock Music Festival. Attendees are invited to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Woodstock with peace, love, art and music in your finest 60’s attire!
