The inaugural Panama City Songwriters Festival debuts November 15 and 16 in the Florida Panhandle, featuring original songs by local, regional and national musicians. Historic Downtown Panama City’s most notable art galleries and performance spaces will transform into intimate music venues for this one-of-a kind festival. Rescheduled due to Hurricane Michael’s impact on Panama City, this will be the first year for the festival organized by local musician, Will Thompson.

“Our community has been working hard to rebuild following Hurricane Michael and this two-day event is the perfect opportunity to welcome visitor’s back,” said Jennifer Vigil, president and CEO of Destination Panama City. “We are pleased to bring even more live performances to our city’s thriving arts and culture scene with the PC Songwriters Festival.”

This event will showcase 30 musicians of multiple genres and will give listeners the opportunity to hear the inspiration and process of how each song was made. Panama City Songwriters Festival is hosted by the Bay County Arts Association and Destination Panama City.
