Visitors can soar through the sky, take in live entertainment and see hot air balloons from across the country at the Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival 2021, May 6 – 8, at 100 N OWA Blvd., inside the OWA grounds in Foley, Ala.

Foley is the spot for high-flying adventure and family fun at the Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival. Enjoy the live music and dance, arts and crafts displays, a dog show and more at the festival site daily. Balloon flights, glows and tethered rides (weather permitting) add to the fun at dawn and dusk.

Balloons fly early in the morning (around dawn) and late in the afternoon (around dusk). All flights are weather dependent. Balloons can only fly in perfect weather, including wind speeds of 7 mph or less. See the full schedule for this year’s planned flight times.

At 6 a.m. on Sunday, pilots have their final competition flight and awards ceremony. Festival grounds will not be open, however, visitors are invited to watch the pilots in their final flight.
